A long-time Menzel customer has, over the last few years installed 16 Menzel motors of varying ratings, voltages and operating speeds at one of its UK refineries. Menzel recently received a further order for an additional 3300 V medium voltage squirrel cage motor, explosion protection class II 3G Ex nA IIC T3 Gc. The sleeve bearings and terminal box of the new 3300V motor had to be adjusted exactly to fit the onsite interfaces.
