Special motors for cranes in the Russian steel plant

MENZEL developed a special design for use as a crane drive in the steel works sector in 2011. The 400 V motors are designed for an ambient temperature of 80°C. Moreover, the entire construction is adapted to the extreme environment above the furnace. The motors are mirror symmetric and always work in tandem.
