Replica of a 11000 V pump drive for UK

Customer: English water power plant

An English water power plant requested an exact replica of an 11000 V pump drive with short-circuit rotor according to the old specification from the year 1967. The customer had thirteen identical electric motors in use and the reserve motor had to be mechanically and electrically interchangeable. MENZEL met exactly the requested performance data, which was confirmed by load test. The new short-circuit rotor motor from MENZEL could be mounted on the old foundation without any changes in the power plant construction system.
