Medium voltage motor for cooling water pump in Bangladesh
We recently delivered another large medium voltage motor to Bangladesh. The 6000 V motor is used to drive a cooling water pump in a fertilizer factory. The gas-powered fertilizer factory can produce up to 1700 tons of urea and 1000 tons of ammonia per day.
The requirements on the replaceable 10-pole pump drive were quite high. We had to comply 100% with the technical parameters and dimensions required by the customer. Even with the slightest technical or dimensional deviation, our offer would have been rejected. However, Menzel was able to meet all customer requirements for this medium voltage motor 100% and win the project together with United Brothers Corporation.
This new pump motor is a typical example of motor projects that we are implementing in cooperation with our partner United Brothers Corporation in Bangladesh. The import and trading company is our local sales partner and has specialized in the fertilizer and chemical industry.
Large medium and high voltage motors for the chemical industry
