EASA meet-and-greet in Berlin on May 11, 2016
The Electrical Apparatus Service Association (EASA) invites interested companies to a meet-and-greet with some of its international members: EASA roadshow 2016 stops for a couple hours each at Vogelsang Service Group in Bochum, Germany on 15 April 2016 and at Menzel Elektromotoren GmbH in Berlin on 11 May 2016.
The industry network represents almost 2,000 firms in 60 countries, which primarily focus on electromechanical repair and service. EASA provides companies with engineering consulting services, industry information and education worldwide and helps members to enhance their performance as total solution providers for electrical and mechanical equipment and systems. "Our industry is responding very positively to EASA's goal to better coordinate between all of us, to speak with one voice internationally, to share best practice, to optimize our efforts and investment, and to contribute to the debates for improving reliability and energy efficiency of the drive system from power input to transmitted power included," says Frederic Beghain, General Manager EASA Region 9.
In addition to showcasing the organizations work, potential new members will have a chance to attend workshops about the latest technology topics (Partial Discharge and Motor starting Capabilites and Considerations) and take a production tour both in Bochum and Berlin. "We would like to encourage all firms in the sector to sign up for one of these events and get to know EASA in a relaxed atmosphere," says Mathis Menzel, who took over as President of Chapter 9 "European & World", which represents Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Menzel Elektromotoren GmbH from Berlin has been a member for more than 30 years. "No other industry network specifically addresses the interests of electromechanical service companies so well and offers such comprehensive support services, training opportunities and workshops. In addition, EASA is a great platform for networking."
Interested companies are advised to register with Menzel Elektromotoren until 12 April 2016 (subject heading "EASA Roadshow"), via e-mail to [email protected] or by phone +49 30 34 99 22-0.
