A Look Behind the Scenes – This Was Our All-Hands Meeting 2024

Strong team spirit and open communication – these values took centre stage at our first All-Hands Meeting, held in December 2024 in Hennigsdorf. This special year-end review symbolically brought together "all hands" of the MENZEL team from various departments and locations worldwide.

During the meeting, we shared insights into our respective areas of work, reflected on the challenges and successes of the past year, and collectively set the course for an exciting 2025. Of course, fun wasn’t left out, thanks to a joint team-building activity. Below are a few glimpses into this very special internal gathering.

A Day of Connection and Insights

The All-Hands Meeting began with a warm welcome to all the teams who travelled to our new location in Hennigsdorf – the perfect setting to come together as a team and reflect on the milestones we’ve achieved together. Each department had the opportunity to introduce itself and provide insights into its daily work. The aim was twofold: to foster greater transparency among colleagues and to showcase the impressive dedication and expertise of each MENZEL team member.

Structured Exchange: Highlights, Learnings, and Challenges

In a structured format of five standardized slides, each team presented its highlights, insights, and challenges from the past year. From successful project completions to valuable lessons learned while overcoming obstacles – each presentation was an impressive testament to the great performance and strong collaboration of our teams. These insights provided a comprehensive outlook on our collective achievements and highlighted the diverse skills and perspectives that make MENZEL so special.

Celebrating Success and Strengthening Connections

The meeting was not only a platform for sharing insights but also a celebration of our collective work. At MENZEL – a family-owned company with a long-standing tradition – close connections and open interaction are a given. However, the meeting provided a new and additional opportunity to strengthen these bonds, express appreciation for cross-departmental collaboration, and create space for exchanging ideas and fostering further development.

Looking Ahead: Plans for 2025

The presentations didn’t stop with a retrospective look; each team also shared its goals and plans for 2025. These included anticipation for new motor projects, section growth opportunities, and continued collaboration. Always keeping in mind our overarching goal: to solidify our position as a solutions provider for custom industrial drives.

And, of Course, Fun Wasn’t Forgotten

Towards the end of the day, all hands were needed once again in a symbol of unity and teamwork: together, we built a MENZEL track along the full length of the production hall, designed to guide a wooden ball to its target. In no time at all, we reached our goal, once again demonstrating our joint team spirit and collaboration in a light-hearted way.
